ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday coordinated the Political decision Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold nearby government races in the capital on December 31

IHC's Equity Arbab Muhammad Tahir acknowledged the petitions of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) trying to invalidate ECP's choice to delay the nearby government races.

The political decision commission had conceded the surveys after the national government expanded the quantity of association committees (UCs) in the capital without bringing ECP into certainty.

Prior to holding the decision, the court had communicated disappointment over the national government's demeanor and voiced its reservations over the "misuse of cash" in the event that the surveys were not hung on time.
